Nadene Paltep

As an international studies major, I have an interest in human rights law and advocacy. With climate change and sea level rise becoming a major threat in the region, I believe that it is important to discuss and settle sovereignty rights between the Indigenous community and Canada.  With this study abroad, I hope to widen my knowledge on Indigenous rights, and I hope to use this knowledge to find ways to improve their quality of life in the Arctic region.
