Michael Brown

Research interests: Global climate politics and why it is such a difficult problem for the current nation state system to act on. As a case study, I am looking at the gap between positive rhetoric and concrete action on climate change in Finland. As an IPI Fellow, I will look at Finland’s activities leading up to their chairmanship to try and paint a picture of what their priorities might be.
