About

Koschei Budkar is a fourth-year undergraduate student at the University of Washington. They are majoring in History, Global and Regional Studies, and Mathematics, with a minor in Jewish Studies. Their personal interests include physical and mental disability, the way disabled people were treated historically, and how that ties into modern law and societal perception. They are excited to join the Disability Inclusive Development Initiative to learn more about relevant asylum law in different states, and help to make that information more accessible. Koschei will be conducting research into protection of disabled refugees and asylum-seekers in Bangladesh.
