About

With a background in ethnicity, identity, and migration, I am interested in how nation-states involve native and ethnic groups in policy talks regarding environmental issues. As climate change heavily affects the native communities in the Arctic, I plan to focus on how the government works with groups such as the Inuit to create policies that protect the land that is sacred to them. I am grateful for the opportunity to travel to Ottawa and look forward to delving into these topics with my team.
