Kiana Rahni is a Junior from Vancouver, WA studying Economics and Political Science with minors in Global Health and Ethics. She is a member of the Interdisciplinary Honors Program and seeks to apply her interdisciplinary education to the field of public health by studying the social, economic, and environmental causes of health disparities through a variety of lenses. This interest has allowed her to study human health in a variety of geographic areas, most recently focusing on the indigenous populations of the Arctic. She is passionate about identifying the relationship between government policy and empirical outcomes and will be focusing her political science undergraduate thesis on regime types and global public health systems.
