Katherine Chamblin is a fourth-year undergraduate student majoring in Speech and Hearing Sciences and minoring in Disability Studies. She is currently assisting on a project investigating violence and bullying against children with disabilities in schools. Previously, she has done research on the social communication patterns of children with cerebral palsy and their families after integrating a powered ride-on car. Katherine’s experiences as an intern for the Student Disability Commission and AccessISL program at UW have helped shaped her interests and involvement in disability advocacy and inclusion.
