About

Jessica Niewohner is a Disability Inclusive Development Fellow. She is a fourth-year student in the Law, Societies, and Justice Department with minors in Human Rights and Political Science. She is currently researching the release of inmates who are being re-sentenced due to the U.S. Supreme Court’s Miller v Alabama ruling, and how Article 32 of the Convention on Rights of Persons with Disabilities is implemented in international development. Her interests focus on marginality and exclusion– particularly for women, incarcerated persons, and persons with disabilities.
