Ellen Eskenazi

As Associate Director, Ellen manages non-classroom programming for the UW Japan Studies Program. Raised in the Pacific Northwest, she has lived and traveled in Japan as a professional and a student (Tsuda University). She is a UW alum, with a BA in East Asia Studies from the Jackson School of International Studies, and certificate in Project Management. The latter was earned during a career in information technology in the telecommunication and finance sectors. Ellen is a board member of the Japan America Society of the State of Washington and has served as Board Chair.
