Elizabeth Mayer is a senior in the Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies, specializing in Eastern European and Central Asian studies, while also majoring in Russian Language and minoring in Arctic studies. Originally from Texas, she has developed a love and passion for the Arctic during her time at the University of Washington, which she hopes to pursue through graduate studies in the coming years. She is currently working on her honors thesis for the Jackson School, examining the impact of Russian bot and troll tweets on American online political discourse.
