About
Elise Eschrich is a fourth year student graduating in June 2020. She is double majoring in Political Science and Law, Societies, & Justice with a minor in Human Rights. Her interest in disability studies and human rights advocacy stems from studying Disability, Ageing, and Development abroad in Jamaica. She further explored this interest through interning at the Human Rights Defense Center, a non-profit specializing in judicial and inmate rights. Currently, Elise is a Substitute Therapeutic Classroom Teacher at Childhaven. Here she advocates for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers who have been through trauma and/or abuse. Elise is driven by her passion for social justice and is excited to delve into research on disability inclusion.
