About
Christopher Pearson is a PhD candidate at the University of Washington researching pre-election cooperation between political parties in Japan. More broadly, his research interests include the political economy of Japan, electoral systems, and rational choice theory. He holds an MA in East Asian Studies from New York University, where he studied Japanese third-parties and the Fukushima nuclear crisis. Christopher Pearson has long been interested in East Asia, having having previously worked in Japan, Korea and Taiwan. He is married and has a rambunctious toddler.
