Abby Murray
Abby E. Murray, program manager for the University of Washington’s U.S. Army War College Fellowship Program which is hosted at the Jackson School, is featured by UW News in an article titled, “UW military rhetoric instructor explores trauma through poetry, writing.”
Murray, an award-winning author who has been teaching rhetoric in military strategy for Army War College fellows at the UW since 2016, was a poet laureate for the City of Tacoma for two years. She also holds a doctorate in English, and her studies have largely focused on the effects of trauma, including war, on writing.
