Saadia Pekkanen features in UW Engineering story on the initiative of UW’s Space Policy and Research Center

In an article titled, “Space matters,” Jackson School faculty Saadia Pekkanen, an outer space expert, is featured as one of the two co-founders and co-directors of the UW’s Space Policy and Research Center which is an initiative for space research and policy partnerships in the Pacific Northwest.

Each autumn since it launched, the center hosts an annual space symposium, convening approximately 450 people every year to discuss topics ranging from autonomous operations and security to sustainable built environments and workforce development.
