Professor of History and Chair of the Sephardic Studies Program Devin Naar was interviewed by the Turkish Jewish newspaper Şalom, discussing his latest book on Ottoman Jewish history.
The interview, conducted by Ph.D. student Canan Bolel, a former Jewish Studies Graduate Fellow, focuses on Naar’s latest book Jewish Salonica: Between the Ottoman Empire and Modern Greece as well as contemporary aspects of Sephardic culture and language.
