Issac Alhadeff Professor of Sephardic Studies Devin Naar is featured by the New Jersey Jewish News in an article titled “Removing ‘the shroud of oblivion’ from Greece’s Jews” about the connection between his upbringing in New Brunswick, New Jersey and Jewish Salonica, and his book Jewish Salonica: Between the Ottoman Empire and Modern Greece.
The article was written in part as a reportage of his Oct. 15 talk to several hundred people at the Douglass College Center of Rutgers University, sponsored by the Allen and Joan Bildner Center for the Study of Jewish Life.
