In a UW News feature story titled, “New Global and Regional Studies major offers undergraduates a customizable window on the world,” Jackson School Director of Academic Services Britta Simon and Jackson School Associate Director David Bachman, who also serves as head of the undergraduate academic program, are quoted on the alignment of the school’s new major to important themes on global issues that need to be resolved to more flexible course options that allows undergraduates to focus on a particular geographic region and theme and provides more choices for the capstone experience..
