Josh Brandon, MAAIS graduate on CNN

Josh Brandon, an alumnus of the M.A. in Applied International Studies program for mid-career professionals, talks to CNN about his job as Middle East Project Manager, Spirit of America, an NGO supporting U.S. troops and diplomats abroad.

“I started seeing problems in Syria, Iraq, Central Asia, and I felt I had a skill set that could help these problems in some form,” he says during the six-minute feature on CNN Live in December 2019. “Spirit of America is emblematic of citizen service.”
