In recent months, in reviewing documents obtained through FOIA litigation against the Department of Homeland Security, Center researchers have detected a previously-unknown pattern of rights violations against migrants in Washington state. Our team of researchers has investigated the human rights infringements that are occurring under ICE, and its private contractor MVM, in Washington state and has proposed paths to its resolution.
