In July, Governor Jay Inslee appointed Daniela H. Suarez, an international studies major at the Jackson School, as Student Regent on the UW Board of Regents for 2019-2020. Suarez also holds an Associate of Arts degree from South Puget Sound Community College (SPSCC).
