Lyle J. Goldstein, a United States Naval War College research professor recently presented a lecture on his recent book, “Meeting China Halfway.”
He was joined by Jackson School faculty David Bachman, Donald Hellmann, and Tabitha Mallory to discuss U.S.-China relations per an invitation from the Committee on China-U.S. Dialogue.
According to a UW Daily article, former China Studies Program Chair and Jackson School Lecturer David Bachman said, “One of the problems is to build cooperation when the informed public sees problems in the way that China runs its country, ones that are fundamentally difficult for Americans to abide by.”
