Estey Chen, an undergraduate alumna of the Jackson School cybersecurity initiative taught by faculty Jessica Beyer, pens an article titled, “As Cyber Threats Grow, Indonesia’s Data Protection Efforts are Falling Short,” that analyzes how bureaucratic rivalry and overlapping mandates have prevented the country from pushing ahead with a planned data protection bill.
The article appeared in The Diplomat on June 30, 2022. Chen graduated in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and History.
