Recently the Chronicle of High Education named the University of Washington as a top producer in the country of Fulbright students in 2015-2016. Our alumna, Katherine Schroeder (B.A., International Studies), is interviewed by The Daily about her Fulbright experience teaching English in Russia. She is one of ten UW students who received a Fulbright for this academic year.
Schroeder also received a Summer 2014 Foreign Language and Area Studies Fellowship (FLAS) for Russian from the Jackson School’s Ellison Center for Russia, East European & Central Asian Studies.
