Professor of International Studies and Director at the Center for Studies in Demography and Ecology Sara Curran argues that the plan to introduce questions about citizenship status in the revised 2020 census form is likely to yield a systematic undercount of U.S. residents in her opinion piece “2020 Census citizenship question makes a mockery of our progress“.
