Rusudan Kuntchulia

About
Rusudan Kuntchulia (she/her) is an M.A. student in the Russian, East European, and Central Asian Studies (REECAS) program. Prior to joining REECAS, she served as a civil servant in Georgia, working as a Defense Policy Specialist at the Ministry of Defense and as a Senior International Relations Analyst at the Government Administration. Rusudan holds dual master’s degrees in Political Science and International Relations from the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs and the University of Wrocław (Poland), and a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Tbilisi State University. She is a recipient of the H. Stewart Parker Fellowship and a member of the Association for Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies (ASEEES) and the International Studies Association (ISA). Her research focuses on post-Soviet security, politics, protest movements, and political leadership, particularly in Eastern Europe and the Caucasus.
