Roman Pomeshchikov

Roman is a PhD student at the Near and Middle Eastern Studies (NMES) Interdisciplinary Program at the University of Washington. He received his BA in International Relations from the University of World Economy and Diplomacy in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, and MA in Global Political Economy from the University of Kassel, in Germany. He lived extensively in Russia, Uzbekistan, and Germany, and was a recipient of 2011-2013 DAAD scholarship by the German Academic Exchange Service. His academic interests include electronic governance, state-society relations, and institutional change.
