About
Eileen Sleesman Calderón is the Ellison Center’s Program Assistant and the administrative Conference Coordinator for the 2018 REECAS NW Conference. Eileen is additionally pursuing her PhD in Sociocultural Anthropology. Her research focuses on Christian minorities in Turkey, and she is interested in theories of time and temporality with particular attention to how people imagine and deal with uncertain futures. Her language knowledge includes Turkish and German.
