Alexa Ryer

Alexa Ryer is a first year MA student at the Ellison Center. In May of 2020 she graduated from Grinnell College with a BA in Russian Language and Political Science. During the summer of 2019 Alexa completed an internship at Moscow’s Alexander Solzhenitsyn House of Russia Abroad, where she helped translate information pertaining to the Russian Diaspora. She plans to continue her study of the Russian Speaking Diaspora at the Jackson School. Outside of the classroom Alexa enjoys Nordic skiing, hiking, and cooking foods from around the world.
