Students from Inglemoor High School in Kenmore are gearing up for the National Finals of the Euro Challenge in New York City. Following a close competition, the Inglemoor team was named the winner of the Washington State Regional Euro Challenge for the team’s proposal to focus on renewable energy as a way to alleviate unemployment in Cyprus. Inglemoor is only the second team from Washington State to compete in the National Euro Challenge Competition.
The Inglemoor team beat students from Bellevue’s Newport High School by just one point, underscoring the high quality of the students’ work this year. For more information about the competition, read this post by the Center for West European Studies & the EU Center.
