Nora Douglass

Nora holds an MFA in Playwriting from The University of Washington School of Drama. Awards include three Kennedy Center ACTF Awards, including the National David Library Award for the best play about the American Experience. She has taught writing to students of all ages, from third grade through senior adults and served as an Artist-in-Residence at three colleges. As a middle and high school teacher Nora participated in many EARC workshops and seminars. She travelled to Japan in 2012 with EARC, reads for the NCTA Freeman Awards and thanks Mary Richards for helping her hone her own writing skills through ten years of Write About Asia at the Seattle Asian Art Musuem.
