Tyson Koch

My name is Tyson, and I am studying political science and French at the University of Washington. I am from Seattle so I am excited to get to explore the Toronto area and make use of the public transportation.

While studying at McMaster University, I get the chance to take unique classes on Canadian cities, indigenous communities, and the Canadian healthcare system. This will give me a background to Canadian politics and life, but I am most excited to use that to form better connections with the people I meet! Sharing experiences, ideas, and time will teach me so much about Canada, but will also let me apply and challenge my knowledge of American politics and culture.

I have not explored Canada outside of British Columbia. It makes me excited to see a new place as I spend the final quarter of my undergraduate experience connecting with old friends and making new ones!
