About
Thomas is a master’s degree candidate and astronautical engineer in the College of Engineering, Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics who is interested in spacecraft guidance, navigation, and control systems and international partnerships between space agencies. He intends to use the FLAS to connect with the Canadian Space Agency located in Longueuil, Québec as a means to deepen the long-standing partnership between the United States and Canada in their respective space agencies. Thomas sees the FLAS award as a benefit for his professional development in the space industry as well as an opportunity for personal development. As a language hobbyist he is excited to improve his Québéqois French while making connections with industry professionals in Canada.
