Steven Fry

I am part of the MAAIS program through the Jackson school, interested in water security as well as how coastline rehabilitation programs can help mitigate the effects of climate change. Before coming back to school I was a finance consultant in Chicago and also spent some time in social impact investing. I love to spend my free time in the mountains or on my bicycle, a recent trip to Patagonia was actually one of the catalysts for going back to school.

Research interests: My research interests this quarter revolve around protected marine sanctuaries in the Arctic and their effects on the environment as well as the economies of local indigenous populations.
