About
It wasn’t until college that I started personally witnessing the effects of climate change. Due to my adoptive background I have always had a love for the earth but also for the people who depend on it. I live each day thinking about how my actions will effect others and the environment. After taking ARCTIC 391 with Professor Pavia I realized that I could make an impact especially for underrepresented communities of the Arctic. The effects climate change is having on the Arctic is not unique the Arctic and its indigenous people. I hope through the help of an Arctic studies minor I can work with governments to create more intense environmentally driven policies that target the issues faced by the indigenous people of the Arctic.
