Hi everyone! My name is Pirkko, and I’m a 23-year-old law student from the University of Lapland in Finland. I’m originally from Tampere, a town in Southern Finland. Ever since I started my studies, I’ve wanted to study abroad, so I’m really excited about the upcoming exchange period. I have a deep interest in human rights, social issues, and politics, and I’m eager to dive into courses in these areas during my time here at UW. I’m really looking forward to experiencing campus life, meeting new people, and creating unforgettable memories.
