Ms. Nathalie Beaudoin is Consul for Political, Economic and Public Affairs at the Consulate General of Canada in Seattle since 2021. She has held other positions in the Canadian Foreign Service, such as Vice-Consul and Program Manager at the Consulate General of Canada in Sao Paulo, Brazil (2017-2021), Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor to the Assistant Deputy-Minister for the Americas in Ottawa, Canada (2014-2016) and Political Officer at the Embassy of Canada in Port-au-Prince, Haiti (2012-2014). Ms. Beaudoin has also worked as an advisor for the Haiti Task Force (2011-2012) and the Afghanistan Task Force (2009-2011), and she was deployed on temporary duties to the Summit of the Americas in Panama (2015), the Embassy of Canada in Kabul (2011), the Kandahar Provincial Reconstruction Team (2010), and the Francophonie Leader’s Summit (Quebec, 2008). Prior to joining the Foreign Service, Ms. Beaudoin gained experience as a journalist in Asunción, Paraguay (2007) and Vancouver, Canada (2004). Nathalie Beaudoin was born and raised in the province of Quebec in Canada, and studied at the University of Ottawa (Canada), the Institut d’Études Politiques (France), and the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (Switzerland).
