Miya Pavlock McAuliffe, '16

I am pursuing an Arctic minor because I am interested in the interface between science and policy. I feel that these two fields need to have a stronger relationship, and I hope to somehow help bridge that gap in my career. Also, taking the required courses offer a great avenue of keeping up with current geopolitical issues, of which I think everyone should be aware of. With an Oceanography major and an Arctic minor, I feel that I will be reaching my goal of achieving an interdisciplinary undergraduate education.
