Michael Brown

Research interests: Michael’s current research interests are on global climate politics and why it is such a difficult problem for the current nation state system to act on. As a case study, he looks at the gap between positive rhetoric and concrete action on climate change in Finland. As an IPI Fellow, he will look at Finland’s activities leading up to their chairmanship to try and paint a picture of what their priorities might be.
