Malina Dumas

I am a law student and former international development professional with an interest in indigenous rights in the Arctic region and beyond. I am from Maine originally and will be moving to Portland, Maine after graduation to work at Drummond Woodsum, a law firm that has represented indigenous nations and tribal enterprises across the United States for decades. Learning more about indigenous peoples in Canada and studying Inuktitut will help me gain a better understanding and appreciation of native cultures in North America, which I will carry forward into my practice of law as I continue to build on my Arctic connections.
