About

I am an atmospheric science student on the climate track. I’ve always been interested in polar studies and how the Arctic is changing due to anthropogenic climate change. Throughout the course of my major, I began taking Arctic classes which opened my eyes to the environmental injustice that Indigenous people have faced. This sparked a new passion that went beyond science. Science is important to study in the changing world, but I also want to support marginalized groups that are affected unfairly by climate change. Beyond studying climate change and its impacts, I am a part of the UW Equestrian Team and I also like hiking, skiing, water skiing, and going to concerts. I am planning on attending grad school after graduation and I hope to inspire change for the sake of our future and our childrens’.
