About

A second-year doctoral student in Interdisciplinary Studies, I am honored to be a FLAS fellow with Canadian Studies this year as I learn Inuktitut and research Inuit language education policy in Canada.  I am particularly interested in how the establishment of the Inuit Nunanga has contributed to the protection and promotion of Inuktitut.   Language education is central to my dissertation research which examines how the language classroom experience can be bettered by using Dynamic Systems Theory as a framework to understanding changes in student motivation.
