Emily Schifferling

Emily’s first visit to Canada presented in the form of breaking her leg in a soccer game against Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, BC, but receiving memorably excellent medical care. After working as an instructor for 8 consecutive years in Japan, India and Saudi Arabia, Emily’s passion for the Pacific Northwest drew her back to Seattle. She is committed to bringing more awareness to the consequential history, geopolitical and cultural ties the US shares with Canada through developing the Corbett Scholarship Program.
