I am finishing up my final year at UW as a biological oceanography student! I am currently working on my senior thesis on zooplankton dynamics, based on samples I collected in Nootka Sound, British Columbia this winter. In my free time, I am a competitive sailor. Sailing is a huge part of why I decided to pursue studying the ocean and the creatures that live in it – a topic that I think would be incomplete without an exploration of dynamics in the Arctic.
