Colin Carter

About
Colin was born in New Westminster, British Columbia and immigrated to the United States at the age of two. Colin graduated “Outstanding Graduate” from Western Washington University in 2016 with a double major in Political Science, Canadian-American Studies, and a minor in English. During his undergraduate Colin focused on international relations and the Canadian Arctic. After becoming a United States Citizen in 2017, Colin applied to become a Peace Corps Volunteer. He served in the Peace Corps in Peshkopi, Albania for 27 months as an education volunteer for grades 3-12 and completed his service in March 2020. Now in his first year pursuing his Masters in Urban Planning, Colin hopes to work on cross-border environmental and long-range regional planning topics.
