About
I am a health sciences student specializing in child health at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. I am interested in learning about the similarities and differences between the United States and Canada because diversity has the power to bring people together. Keeping an open mind, I will immerse myself in the American culture. In return, I will happily represent Canada and share what my country has to offer. During my time abroad, I will be able to form new connections and further develop my interpersonal skills through networking with professionals and other students. In addition, I am also excited to take advantage of the experiences offered at an American research-intensive institution and challenge myself with the unknown. By embracing appropriate risks, I will take a leap forward in my academic journey while cultivating personal growth as well. I look forward to beginning my junior year at the University of Washington as a Killam Fellow and seeing where this adventure takes me!
