FLAS fellow now with The Arctic This Week

Caroline Humphreys is a FLAS Fellow (French) with Canadian Studies Center, a law student at the UW’s School of law, and a member of the Washington Law Review.

Outside of UW, Caroline is the Special Projects Director of Arctic Encounter, an Alaska-based nonprofit organization that hosts Arctic-focused business and policy convenings. She is also a Research Associate with The Arctic Institute, a Top 100 Think Tank based in Washington, D.C. There, she manages the Institute’s flagship publication, The Arctic This Week, which is a weekly compilation of news and analysis focused on the Arctic region.

Caroline’s interests are vast, spanning rural development to comparative international intellectual property law. Caroline is finishing her second of three years in law school and hopes to continue her work helping to advocate for the Arctic region.
