Queen’s University Library’s Indigenous language revitalization section features several different types of resources, including dictionaries and grammars, learning resources and reading material.
Tusaalanga
Has many lessons for learning Inuktitut, in several dialects. Also hosts a glossary, grammar tools, sample dialogues, and other helpful resources. An app (iOS) to add an Inuktut Naqittautit keyboard to mobile devices is also available.
Pirurvik Centre
An Inuit-owned centre of learning based in Nunavut’s capital, Iqaluit. Dedicated to Inuit wellbeing through investing in language and culture. Offers Inuit language and cultural knowledge programs.
Endangered Languages Project
The Endangered Languages Project supports language preservation and documentation of at-risk languages around the world. Users of the website can access comprehensive information about languages as well as resources provided by partners, and can play an active role in maintaining their language by submitting information or samples in the form of text, audio or video files.
Pinnguaq Association
The Pinnguaq Association is a not-for-profit organization which incorporates STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) into unique learning applications that promote storytelling, health, wellness and growth with rural and remote communities.
Makittagait
Mobile app (iOS) developed by Kativik School Board (Nunavik) to help young students learn and read Inuktitut.
