Ellen Eskenazi

Ellen manages programming for and administratively supports several centers and programs including the East Asia Center, Center for Japanese Studies, Global Sport Lab, and the China Studies, Korea Studies, Taiwan Studies, and Japan Studies programs. Raised in the Pacific Northwest, she has lived and traveled in Japan as a professional and a student (Tsuda University). She is a UW alum, with a B.A. in East Asia Studies from the Jackson School of International Studies, and certificate in Project Management. The latter was earned during a career in information technology in the telecommunication and finance sectors. Ellen is a board member of the Japan America Society of the State of Washington and has served as Board Chair as well as on several committees.
