Notably, Dolores Huerta, a nationally renowned labor leader and civil rights activist, was scheduled to be the keynote speaker at this year’s Latinx Faculty Recognition Event. Due to COVID-19 however, the event was canceled. So instead, she recorded this video message for the Latinx faculty honorees.

President Ana Mari Cauce also recorded a video message for the honorees.
