Sorensen on latest U.S.-North Korea standoff & China’s role | KOMO News

Professor of International Studies and Director of the Center for Korean Studies Clark  Sorensen was interviewed by KOMO News to discuss the latest developments amid rising tension between the U.S. and North Korea.

Sorensen says that North Korea knows it should not give the U.S. a reason to fight; however, it is considered an unpredictable actor. On China, Sorensen said that Beijing is applying more pressure on Pyongyang but at the same time remains a trading partner.
