Prof. Scott Montgomery, geoscientist and an affiliate faculty member in the Jackson School, discusses the U.S. decision to pull out of the Paris Climate Change accord in a radio interview with KOMO News on Friday, June 2.

Montgomery said that the move by President Trump continues the trend in his administration to withdraw from global leadership roles with climate change being one key area.

He added that the decision has several dangerous implications that will affect science, trade and even democracy.
